2020 Technical Specifications

Region Lavaut Saint-Jacques
Production Details In Neal Martin's report on the domaine's 2020 range, picking began on 21 August, alcohol levels across the range were 12.5–12.7%, all wines were fully destemmed, and the wines had been bottled in mid-February. These are domaine-range observations, not a cuvée-specific finished-wine ABV or complete harvest interval.
Tasting Notes Allen Meadows, January 2022: restrained sauvage, earth and dark-currant aromas, pronounced minerality, verve and a muscular, linear finish. Neal Martin, May 2022: focused red and black fruit, minerals, fine-grained tannins, black cherry, cranberry, crushed stone and blood orange. William Kelley, January 2022: cassis, pomegranate, cherry, warm spices, peony and loamy soil, with vibrant acidity, refined tannins and a long finish.
