Production Details The 2023 whites, including La Romanée, were scheduled for bottling around November 2025 after approximately 27 months of élevage. The official report describes a long élevage without added protection so oxidizable material can precipitate naturally rather than be removed through filtration or fining. The reviewed wine had not been racked after malolactic completion and remained gassy; Le Moine bottles with elevated CO2 and advises energetic decanting.
Tasting Notes Discreet wood; apple and pear compote, white peach and passion-fruit aromas; vibrant, richly opulent medium-bodied palate; bright acidity; long, surprisingly rustic and nearly tannic finish; old-school style
