Production Details Purchased grapes and musts from supply partners working to producer specifications; hand-harvested into open-work crates and sorted when necessary. The fruit was totally destemmed, followed by 2–3 weeks of combined fermentation and maceration in small open vats with punch-downs and pump-overs, using indigenous natural yeasts. Vertical pressing was followed by tasting-based separation of press-end fractions. Maturation lasted 14–16 months in oak barrels, including 20–25% new barrels, using wood from French high forests.
Tasting Notes Deep colour; undergrowth, leather and red-fruit aromas; silky tannins; structured body with finesse and elegance; long, attractive finish
