Production Details The 2023 cuvée was made with 40% whole bunches and matured entirely in new oak; it was the first Felettig cuvée picked that year, and only two barrels were produced. A second exact-vintage listing describes approximately 12 months in French oak, all new. The vines were trained high and hedged at 2 metres.
Tasting Notes Jasper Morris (tasted December 2024): lively perfume, red and black fruit, natural freshness, lift and excellent acidity. Neal Martin (January 2025): concentrated and finely chiseled, with pronounced oak, minerality, supple tannins and a limestone-tinged, animated finish. Robert Parker: red berries, spices, smoked tea and incense, with a supple, layered palate, melting tannins and a long saline finish.
