Production Details The 2023 was made without whole clusters. It was racked after the 2024 harvest and, when reviewed in January 2025, was scheduled for bottling in the spring.
Tasting Notes Decanter, January 2025: ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit, earth, smoke and spice; substantial texture, firm tannins and abundant extract without heaviness or astringency.

Production Details After sorting, the crop passed through a destemmer designed to preserve berry integrity. Fermentation began spontaneously and slowly; devatting and pressing followed 15–20 days of maceration. The wine was transferred to barrel by gravity, with about one-third new barrels, and bottling was planned after either 18 or 22 months of maturation. Published vintage reviews disagree about whole-cluster use: Vinous reported 50%, while Decanter reported 40% and fewer punchdowns; no authoritative vintage sheet resolving that discrepancy was found.
Tasting Notes Bill Nanson, tasted at the domaine on 6 December 2023: calm, very broad nose with a faint tobacco impression; elegant structure, substantial intensity and a broad, impressive finish.
