Production Details The wine is certified organic and biodynamic; pruning and vine braiding are performed by hand, and the soil is ploughed by horse. Grapes are handpicked into small cases and sorted; one-third is retained as whole bunches, while the remainder is destemmed without crushing. Extraction uses gentle pump-overs and foot pigeage, followed by slow, gentle pneumatic pressing. Vinification lasts approximately 20–25 days. Maturation takes place in oak barrels for 15–18 months, with new oak not exceeding 20%. Bottling follows lunar cycles and occurs without fining or filtration.

Production Details The exact 2022 importer SKU describes certified-biodynamic farming, vines more than 45 years old, and a comparatively high clay content associated with the slope below Clos de la Roche. The wine was fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in barrels with 20% new oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Decanter’s vintage review additionally describes fruit from a domaine holding just under half a hectare, partial destemming and maturation mainly in used casks.
Tasting Notes Decanter, 2024-01-21: black cherry, floral and Asian-spice aromas; a dense palate with moderately firm tannins, lively freshness and a lingering finish.
