Production Details The 0.53-hectare parcel was planted in 1983 and 1987. The page describes sustainable viticulture without ploughing, natural ground cover and Guyot-Poussard pruning. The 2022 cuvée used 20–30% whole bunches, underwent 10–15 days of maceration in wooden vats, and matured for 18–20 months in oak barrels with approximately 30% new wood. The same page gives only approximate/ranged analyses: about 13% alcohol and pH 3.50–3.70; these are retained here rather than converted into exact canonical analytical values.
Tasting Notes Ruby red; cherry, raspberry and Morello cherry; floral, subtle spice and limestone-derived mineral notes; supple attack, medium body, silky tannins, fresh acidity, red-fruit finish and delicate liquorice nuances.
Food Pairing Herb-roasted poultry, veal escalope with mushrooms, pan-fried salmon, duck dishes, rosemary-grilled lamb chops, Comté or Gruyère.
Critics Ratings Vinous (Neal Martin) 90–92
