Production Details At the January 2018 barrel assessment, none of the producer’s 2016 wines had been racked and they were described as very low in sulfur. The same vintage overview reports alcohol levels below 13.5%, which conflicts with this wine’s reproduced final label stating 14% vol.; the exact label value is therefore retained separately as the finished-wine alcohol claim.
Tasting Notes Cherry, raspberry, flint and tobacco lifted by white pepper and rose petal; silky red-fruit texture, mineral tension, fine-grained tannins and a long finish. A second note adds cassis, plum, black cherry and a firmer, mineral-driven finale.
