Production Details In the producer-hosted Burghound review of the 2007 red range, which includes Les Gaudichots, none of the wines had been racked when reviewed. Malolactic fermentation was deliberately prolonged; the reds were stirred on their lees and retained noticeable dissolved carbon dioxide.
Tasting Notes Burghound described an intensely floral, ripe, pure and spicy nose with mineral, firm and precise flavors and exceptional depth and length. Stephen Tanzer described coffee, mocha and smoky-oak aromas, with a rich, supple, sweet and deeply smoky palate.
