Production Details At Burghound’s February barrel tasting, the producer’s 2015 wines had not yet been racked or sulfured and were undergoing long élevage; this Les Fuées received a provisional barrel-rating range of 92–94 points. These observations describe the unfinished wine at that tasting, not the final bottled specification.
Tasting Notes Allen Meadows/Burghound barrel review: layered plum, black cherry, cassis and anise aromas with noticeable wood; rich and relatively full-bodied, combining power and muscular tension with refinement, pronounced depth, length and a mineral-driven finish.
