Drinking Window Drink now for fruit and salinity, or wait 2–3 years.
Classification Rully Premier Cru
Region Les Cloux
Production Details The wine was in its second year of organic conversion. The producer attributes the small quantity from the newly acquired Cloux Blanc vineyard to sunny conditions with low juice yield and the transition from conventional farming to organic cultivation combined with biodynamic methods. The producer also warns that its 2019 Rully Premier Cru whites may contain tartrate-crystal deposits, presented as a consequence of the warm vintage and its natural bottling approach.
Tasting Notes Rich yet airy nose; light spice; citrus peel; perceptible oak; very saline palate; rich, glistening flavors; precise, nearly mineral finish; soft and seductive; light bitterness; nearly marly, refreshing notes.
