Production Details The 0.226 ha parcel was planted in 1970 and 1989 at 20,000 vines/ha. Grapes were hand-harvested into bins or small cases, gently pneumatically pressed without settling, and fermented for 90 days under temperature control in 300 L barrels and 600 L demi-muids; chaptalization was used only if needed and there was no bâtonnage. The barrels were one to ten years old, with no new oak. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrel. The wine was racked in August using compressed air without pumping, received homeopathic fining if needed and light kieselguhr filtration, and was gravity-bottled after 24 months. Reported production was 140 twelve-bottle cases.
Tasting Notes Very pale colour; fine toasted and vanilla-accented nose with fresh fruit; round, powerful and rich palate with a fresh finish.

2021 Technical Specifications
Classification Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru
Region Les Chaumees
Production Details For Les Chaumées, the 2021 sources describe red soil, vines rooted virtually on the mother rock, young vines and some high-density co-planting; William Kelley reports a density of 20,000 vines/ha and notes that the young vines were not yet labelled as a haute-densité cuvée. Domaine-wide 2021 context, not a parcel-specific picking record, states that harvest ran from 17 to 28 September and that the wines received the full 24-month élevage before July-August bottling.
Tasting Notes Bill Nanson, tasting with Olivier Lamy on 21 November 2023, found yellow-citrus complexity, a cool, vibrant and almost electric palate, broad mineral character and a mouthwatering finish. William Kelley described green apple, white flowers, toasted nuts, iodine and youthful reduction, with a layered, satiny palate, racy acidity and a long finish. Neal Martin reported gunflint, white tea, clementine, quince and sour lemon, with a vibrant, cohesive and persistent finish.
