2007 Technical Specifications
Drinking Window 2014+
Region Les Damodes
Production Details For the 2007 range containing Les Damodes, fruit had potential alcohol of 13–13.6% (a fruit/must measurement, not finished-wine alcohol). The wines received substantial fine-lees additions and weekly lees stirring from the beginning; malolactic fermentation was deliberately prolonged, and residual carbon dioxide plus the cold cellar provided natural protection. None of the wines had been racked at the time of the review.
Tasting Notes Burghound: wood spice and crushed herb over predominantly red-berry fruit; rich, round and sleekly muscular, with substantial dry extract and a textured, dense, serious finish.

2006 Technical Specifications
Region Les Damodes
Production Details A relatively late bottling was planned because the wine's malolactic fermentation was progressing very slowly.
Tasting Notes Stephen Tanzer: bright red; restrained dark-cherry, raspberry, spice and mocha aromas; sweet and sappy, with maraschino-cherry ripeness but no heaviness; pure, lifted finish.
