Production Details Domaine-wide 2022 context applicable to the cuvée: grapes were crushed and cooled, pressed without settling the solids, and underwent an early, rapid fermentation in 350 L barrels without lees stirring; malolactic fermentation finished by Christmas. Reported 12.4–13% degrees at picking and light chaptalization to 13.2–13.5% describe the vintage’s grape/must context, not a finished-wine analysis. The wine came from 0.62 ha; one description says vines planted in 1960, while the plot-specific review reports an average vine age of 50 years.
Tasting Notes Jasper Morris, tasted October 2023: pale primrose, generous yellow fruit, substantial weight and good acidity, stony character, ripe fruit and a notably long finish. Wine Advocate, reviewed January 2024: honeyed pear, white flowers, freshly baked bread and beeswax; lively, taut and chalky.
