Alcoholic fermentation occurred in oak barrels, 22% of which were new; the new-oak component was at most half Vosges oak and at least half Allier oak. The wine then spent 12 months in barrels followed by 6 months in tank for preparation for bottling. Homeopathic fining and very light filtration were used if necessary.
