Production Details The steep, rocky Beauregard slope rises to 300 m and faces southeast. Grapes were collected in small containers, table-sorted, pressed and settled. Fermentation took place in non-new barrels and demi-muids. The wine matured reductively on its lees for one year without sulfur addition, followed by further maturation in stainless-steel tanks. Vine Trail reports ageing of up to four years in foudres and 4–6-year-old barrels of 228–600 L, followed by three months in cuve before bottling. It was bottled without fining or filtration, with a small SO2 addition.
