Production Details Practicing-organic viticulture; fruit comes from the top of Les Beaumonts beside Aux Brûlées, from vines more than 30 years old. The wine was made with 100% whole clusters and indigenous yeast, then matured for 12 months in barrel, 50% new, followed by 3 months in stainless steel; it was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Production Details Produced under practicing-organic vineyard management. Half of the grapes were destemmed; maturation used 456-liter oak barrels, half of them new. The importer describes ageing potential of at least 10 years after harvest.
Tasting Notes Complex aromas of red fruit, floral notes, black pepper, cloves and oak; juicy ripe red and black fruit with spice and licorice, elegant integrated tannins, minerality and a refreshing finish.
