Soil Granite
Production Details Kermit Lynch describes a 2.5-hectare, certified-organic granite vineyard with vines 30–45 years old. A specialist tasting note instead describes two sites—one blue granite and one sandy—with vines averaging 80 years; that note reports whole-cluster fermentation in concrete followed by 8–10 months in older barrels. The vine-age descriptions conflict and are retained without reconciliation.

Production Details The négoce Gamay was destemmed and macerated for 12 days with some pumping over but no punch-down. It was aged in a 42-hectolitre foudre approximately 15 years old. The importer describes the finished alcohol only as just over 12% ABV, so no exact alcohol value is proposed.
