2015 Technical Specifications

Grape Varieties Pinot Noir 100%
Classification Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits AOC
Region Hautes Cotes de Nuits
Harvest Dates 4–9 September 2015 for red grapes
Production Details The Pinot Noir occupies 0.33 ha of a co-planted one-hectare, south-east-facing plot at 400 m, planted in 2007 on shallow stony soil containing sand, clay and silt. The fruit's sanitary condition required little sorting. The wine was aged in barrels, 20–25% new, and bottled after 12 months of ageing. The vintage narrative reports a harvest yield of 24 hl/ha without clearly limiting that figure to the Le Mont plot, so it is retained here as contextual production information rather than a canonical vineyard-yield claim.
Tasting Notes Ruby red; initially restrained red and dark berries that intensify with air; clean, vibrant palate with silky tannins, spice and liquorice.
