Production Details Produced from ten separate plots. Aiolos says the vines used for this bottling were planted in 1945. The House of Townend sheet is internally inconsistent about élevage: its summary states 16 months in 70% new oak, while its vinification table states fermentation in 70% new oak followed by 18 months of ageing; the duration is therefore not normalized as settled.
Tasting Notes Ripe red fruit, red and black cherry, kirsch, chalky limestone, menthol, sweet vanilla oak; muscular, earthy and seductive

Production Details Divin Paradis describes fruit from multiple plots, vines aged 70–100+ years, approximately 70% destemming, punch-down fermentation, and 12–18 months in French oak with 50–100% new wood. A producer-interview barrel report instead describes about ten parcels totaling slightly over one hectare, average vine age around 50 years, with Crais and Etelois the principal parcels. Because the vine-age descriptions conflict, neither has been normalized into a numeric vine-age claim.
Tasting Notes Bright garnet; cherry, raspberry, earth, spice and licorice; elegant and generous with supple tannins and a long saline-mineral finish
