Production Details Jasper Morris's November 2023 barrel-sample note reports 60% pedicel use and 30% new wood for the 2022 cuvée. This conflicts with the separately retained Vinous specification of 40% whole-bunch pédicelle and one-third new oak.
Tasting Notes Jasper Morris (tasted November 2023) describes red berries, elegance, density, a clean long finish and good acid balance. Wine Advocate (January 2024) reports cherries, berries, rose petals, vine smoke, a satiny and supple palate, perfumed fruit and a saline finish. Vinous (January 2024) notes red fruit, orange rind, allspice, finely chiseled tannins, black tea and light tobacco.
Food Pairing Grilled beef or feathered game such as woodcock
