Production Details The vines were planted in 1981 in a 0.13-hectare parcel. The wine was fermented in vat with partial carbonic maceration and no sulfur addition until bottling, then matured in partly new oak/barrique without racking during the first 12 months; TERRADA specifies 13 months of total barrique maturation. The producer's estate-wide 2023 report says flowering began on 5 June, August rain prevented water stress, and September sun and heat enabled good phenolic maturity.
Tasting Notes The producer characterizes its 2023 wines as harmonious, structured, elegant and fresh, with floral and fruity notes. Vinous's 92–94-point review of this exact cuvée describes red-cherry and orange-pith aromas, crisp acidity, fine-boned tannins, and a sapid, spicy finish.
