Production Details Grapes and musts were purchased from partner growers working to rigorous specifications. Grapes were harvested by hand into open-work crates and carefully sorted if necessary, then totally destemmed. Fermentation and maceration lasted 2–3 weeks in small open vats, with punch-downs and pump-overs and indigenous yeast. The wine was pressed vertically, with press fractions separated by tasting, then matured for 14–16 months in oak barrels, including 20–25% new barrels made from French high-forest oak.
Tasting Notes Véronique Boss-Drouhin: ruby colour; complex red-fruit and spice aromas; ample palate with fine tannins, velvety fruit, finesse and a strong finish.
