Production Details Stephen Tanzer tasted an unfinished barrel sample reported at 13.8% alcohol and 4.2 g/L acidity; the acidity basis is not specified. Mounir Saouma said the wine still needed additional barrel time. Tanzer’s projected score was 89–92 points. These barrel-sample measurements are retained with their scope rather than treated as finished-wine analytical values.
Tasting Notes Stephen Tanzer: subdued nose; pliant lime, lemon, tangerine-zest and mineral flavors; gentle, easygoing and sweet-fruited, with a youthfully clenched finish.

Tasting Notes Stephen Tanzer: gunflint, crushed rock, smoky oyster shell, peat and ripe peach; very dry, thick and chewy, with bracing acidity and strong mineral drive. Neal Martin separately noted chalk, grapefruit, white peach, nascent energy and a long spicy aftertaste, with noticeable gas at the time of tasting.
