Production Details The 2020 harvest was Domaine Prieuré Roch's first vintage from Clos des Varoilles. The parcel produced two distinct wines: this Clos des Varoilles Monopole and a separate Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Vieilles Vignes. At takeover, approximately one-third of the six-hectare parcel—about two hectares—was non-productive and undergoing rehabilitation. The producer says Clos des Varoilles was the final parcel harvested in each of its first two vintages.
