Production Details Vines planted at 8,000–10,000 vines/ha; treatments limited according to weather, no insecticide, little fertilizer and only organic fertilizer; vigor and yields controlled through leaf removal, green harvesting and spring disbudding. Grapes were hand harvested, sorted, crushed and partially destemmed. Parcel-by-parcel traditional vinification used minimal oenological inputs and indigenous yeasts, followed by three weeks of maceration in open vats and 18 months of maturation in barrels.
Tasting Notes Initially restrained nose revealing spiced black fruit, sandalwood, graphite and smoky aromas; pure, balanced palate with a velvety texture and terroir-derived mineral freshness.
