Production Details The vineyards lie at 180–325 m elevation, with some inclines reaching a 60% gradient. Grapes were harvested entirely by hand into palox bins and transferred to a cold room. After destemming, berries moved by gravity into truncated stainless-steel vats. The wine spent 18 months in oak, 20% new, followed by blending in stainless steel three months before bottling; the producer's technical figure gives 21 months of total ageing. An embedded Wine Advocate review by Yohan Castaing, published May 2026, further describes 2023 as the inaugural vintage matured in 25-hL foudres and as entirely destemmed.

Fermentation Vessels Traditional open-topped concrete tanks
Maceration 2 days
Production Details Grapes were hand-picked plot by plot at peak maturity. Fermentation followed two days of cold pre-fermentation maceration in open-topped concrete tanks at 82–86°F. Punch-downs and pump-overs occurred daily for about ten days, with total vatting of up to 20 days. Maturation lasted 14–16 months in new or one-year-old oak casks, which were topped regularly. The importer reports an early 2022 harvest after a late budbreak, warm spring and heatwave; no calendar dates are supplied. A James Suckling review published April 2024 and hosted on the importer page describes the wine as matured exclusively in Burgundian oak barrels, with almost one-third new; because this proportion is approximate, no numeric new-oak claim is proposed.
Tasting Notes Deep crimson; blackcurrant, redcurrant, licorice, smoke and light wood; silky tannins with black-fruit, spice and occasional violet notes.
