Production Details At a December 2022 barrel tasting, Jasper Morris reported six barrels and sampled three: one new-oak barrel that had recently been sulfured, one one-year-old barrel, and one new barrel in which the wine underwent vinification intégrale. These are barrel-sample observations and do not establish final-blend oak proportions.
Tasting Notes William Kelley described plum fruit, sweet spices and youthful reduction, with an ample, seamless, medium-to-full-bodied palate. Jasper Morris’s barrel samples showed dark purple colour, raspberry-led fruit, firm tannins and impressive length; oak was prominent in the vinification-intégrale sample.
