Production Details HVE-certified vineyards; manually harvested fruit; deliberately low yields and parcel selection. The vintage-specific sheet states 18 months of maturation in new French-oak barrels. The current exact-wine producer page adds that malolactic fermentation occurs in barrel but describes 17 months in new French-oak barrels, a genuine one-month conflict with the 2022 sheet. The sheet also reports residual sugar below 1 g/L, recommends serving at 16–18°C depending on the season, and advises decanting.
Tasting Notes Clear, brilliant deep-ruby appearance; generous blackcurrant and blackberry aromas with subtle oak, spice and pepper; lively, balanced attack; fine, silky tannins and freshness with slight bitterness and acidity; long, persistent finish
Food Pairing Feathered game, cream-sauced poularde, roast pigeon, duck parmentier, rabbit with truffle, scallops, roast prawns with caviar, strongly flavored cheeses, and Asian shellfish tempura with sweet-and-sour sauces
