Magnums153
Production Details Certified organic for vines and wine and farmed with biodynamic methods; gobelet-trained, stake-supported Syrah was harvested manually. The official PDF says all grapes were destemmed, whereas the live producer page says the majority were destemmed, so the exact proportion remains unresolved. The PDF specifies three weeks in stainless steel, twice-daily pump-overs and cap-punching according to phenolic maturity; the live page instead describes both operations twice daily. Maturation lasted 18 months in 228-L barrels without new oak.
Tasting Notes Jeb Dunnuck (2026-02-26): ripe black fruit, bouquet garni, pepper and violet; medium- to full-bodied, round and supple. Kristen Bieler, Wine Spectator (2026-03-31): blackcurrant, violet, tangy acidity, black pepper, brown bread, tobacco, herbs and graphite, with a fresh savoury finish.
Food Pairing Chicken-liver mousse with sweet wine and cep mushrooms.

Production Details Certified organic for vines and wine and farmed with biodynamic methods; gobelet-trained, stake-supported Syrah was harvested manually and fully destemmed. Natural-yeast fermentation and a three-week maceration took place in stainless steel, with twice-daily pump-overs and cap-punching according to phenolic maturity. Maturation lasted 18 months in 228-L barrels without new oak. The estate-wide 2020 harvest ran from August 20 for the first Saint-Péray Marsanne to September 15 for Cornas’s highest plots; the sheet does not assign those endpoints specifically to Les Chailles.

Production Details Certified organic for vines and wine and farmed with biodynamic methods; gobelet-trained, stake-supported Syrah was harvested manually. The producer specification says the majority of grapes were destemmed, while the critic quotation reproduced on the same sheet says all were destemmed; the exact proportion is therefore unresolved. Natural-yeast fermentation and several weeks of maceration took place in stainless steel, with cap-punching and pump-overs twice daily. Maturation lasted 18 months in 228-L barrels without new wood. The vintage narrative says the estate harvest began in the last week of August, without assigning a Les Chailles-specific date.
