Production Details R19 is based on the 2019 harvest. Grapes were hand-picked in multiple passes, sometimes spread over three weeks, and sorted in the vineyard and cellar. Ten percent entered qvevri intact; 90% was Coquard-pressed over the whole berries. The producer and importer describe a 10-month skin maceration, while the exact R19 specialist page reports an 8-month partial maceration; this disagreement is unresolved. The specialist page reports 24 months sur lattes, 10–12°C service and opening 30 minutes before service. Different R19 listings report disgorgement in November 2021 and 28 March 2022, indicating distinct lots; neither is generalized as an edition-wide disgorgement_date.
