Production Details This multi-vintage Réserve Cuvée draws on 50–60 crus. The Puro technical sheet states that reserve wines comprise 40–45% depending on the year, while Champmarket gives a broader 30–45% range and says the reserve wines derive from 5–6 harvests kept separately by grape variety and year. The dosage liqueur is made from the Brut Carte Jaune blend and matured for 12 months in oak casks. The sheet describes one additional year of maturation; Nicolas more specifically records six months of extended maturation after disgorgement. Recommended serving temperature is 10–12 °C.
Tasting Notes Intense gold color and fine bubbles; peach, apricot and pear with spice, vanilla and pastry aromas; pronounced toast and praline followed by brioche and further toasted notes.
Food Pairing Aperitif, oysters, or served through a meal.
