Production Details The current producer presentation says the cuvée uses reserve wines from at least two previous harvests held separately in vats, together with a Solera maintained since 2010; its expedition liqueur is made from reserve wine. The producer-linked April 2014 bottling was a 5,000-bottle run comprising 50% 2013 wine and 50% reserves—15% 2012, 20% 2011 and 15% Solera dating from 2010—stored in temperature-controlled tanks or 300 L oak barrels and dosed at 5 g/L. A separately documented 2021 direct-import release was based on 2016, dosed at 3 g/L and given one additional year on the lees relative to the corresponding Brut.
Tasting Notes Producer sheet for the April 2014 bottling: apple, pear, honey, vanilla and acacia, with a delicate, full, crystalline, taut and precise palate. Gault&Millau’s 2024 non-vintage review: pear, peach and fresh mushroom aromas followed by quince, mango and vanilla, with balanced acidity and bitterness.
