Production Details Blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay from 100% Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. Harvest took almost one month starting September 15th, 2008. Aged 7-8 years on the lees. Over 12 months post-disgorgement aging on cork before release. Released in late 2018/early 2019 in two editions: Legacy Edition (November 2018) and standard Vintage 2008 (early 2019). The 2008 vintage was unusually held back for extended aging - the 2009 was released before the 2008. Described as a 'miracle year' with challenging growing conditions saved by perfect September weather with blue skies and prolonged north-northeasterly winds.
