Production Details 100% Grand & Premier Cru vineyards. The 2005 vintage was unpredictable and full of contrasts with warm weather and little rain, followed by a heatwave in August and cool, rainy weather in September. Strict selection in the vineyard resulted in extremely limited production, estimated at only 20-25% of the 2004 volume - the smallest production during Richard Geoffroy's tenure as Chef de Cave. Pinot Noir was marred by rot, so the blend was adjusted to 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir to restore balance and freshness.
