Production Details Fermented in stainless steel tanks using cultured house yeast strains. Full malolactic fermentation completed. First Plénitude release after 7 years of lees aging. Produced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru (Hautvillers) vineyards. Vintage characterized by extreme contrasts: cold wet winter/spring with late budding (2 weeks delayed), followed by warmest/driest/sunniest summer in 20 years. Late harvest (Sept 28-Oct 15) maintained high acidity while benefiting from concentrated, gradually matured fruit. Described as 'last pre-climate change vintage' and 'last of the Mohicans' by Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon.
