Pressing Method Only The First Pressing Was Used
Production Details The grapes were hand-picked and only the first pressing was used. After a long fermentation, blending took place in late May or early June following the harvest. Secondary fermentation occurred in bottle, followed by 10 years on lees before disgorgement. The sheet additionally reports acidity of 7.3 g/L without specifying its analytical basis; that measurement is therefore not mapped to total_acidity_gl.
Tasting Notes Deep bright gold; warm, dense bouquet of stewed exotic fruit, roasted hazelnut, frangipane and liquorice; broad, enveloping and refined palate with candied fruit, liquorice and toasted notes; long, sustained finish.
