Production Details The current producer formulation uses approximately 40 crus. It describes 75% wines of the year, divided equally among Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and 25% reserve wines divided equally between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; it also says the reserve share can reach 35%, averaging five years old. Red reserve wines can date back five years before the last harvest, and 5–6% red Champagne wine from Les Riceys contributes color, tannin and red-fruit character. Folio’s 2026 release description specifies 25% reserve wines averaging five years and approximately 8–10% vinification in old barrels. Maturation is stated as three to four years, but the producer’s tasting panel separately attributes the bubbles to ageing beyond 48 months, an internal duration conflict that remains unresolved.
Tasting Notes Powdery pink with wild-rose glints and fine bubbles; strawberry jam, vineyard peach and gingerbread aromas; powerful, creamy palate with strawberry, raspberry and blackberry.
