Production Details Current producer 2024 specification: 70% base wine and 30% reserve wine; the reserve wines are 2–5 years old and held in tank; élevage is 95% tank and 5% barrels; 36 months on the lees. The producer gives dosage as 4.8–5.6 g/L, while Sacred Thirst gives 6 g/L; because the sources do not establish matching disgorgements, no single exact dosage is proposed. The archived 2020 Village Wine Imports release used hand-picked Grand Cru fruit from several vintages and spent 6 years on the lees; its narrative also describes low-temperature fermentation, full malolactic fermentation and approximately 4 years of aging. The archived 2017 Dhall & Nash sheet specifies manual harvesting with cluster selection, alcoholic fermentation at 16–18°C, malolactic fermentation at 18°C and manual disgorgement.
Tasting Notes Finesse, citrus, elegance and balance; Lobenberg describes a strong, lush and very creamy wine with mild acidity, intense expression, apple, nuts and pear.
