Production Details Grapes were harvested by hand and carefully sorted. Cold maceration lasted 18–23 days before alcoholic fermentation; maturation lasted 15–18 months, with 40–50% new barrels.
Tasting Notes Complex aromas of red fruit, spice and animal or savoury notes; delicate and elegant, with complexity and a fine finish.

Production Details The 2017 fruit was destemmed. The wine came from Taupenot-Merme's approximately 420-square-metre parcel and represented less than one barrel.
Tasting Notes Neal Martin described wild strawberry, cranberry, incense and vanilla aromas, a medium-bodied palate with fine-grained tannins, firm grip, salinity and a broad finish. Julia Harding described dark fruit and spice, savoury juiciness, delicate intensity and notable length.
