Production Details For the domaine's 2022 reds, Vincent Dureuil reported no whole clusters and relatively gentle vinification because the skins were thick and extraction came easily. The estate harvest ran from 1 to 16 September, and the reported 13.5–14% potential alcohol refers to grapes or must, not finished wine. The exact-wine page also describes 8–10 days at cold temperature, a further 10 days before transfer to barrel, and 18 months of aging. Its oak figures conflict internally: one passage says one-third new barrel, an exact-wine bullet says 20% new, and the general domaine-method section says 25% new; therefore no 2022 new-oak proportion is proposed.
Tasting Notes Allen Meadows/Burghound: earthy and sauvage-inflected red-berry aromas, energetic mineral-driven flavors, sleek texture and a structured, serious, moderately austere finish. Neal Martin/Vinous: brambly red fruit, dried roses, strawberry pastilles, light forest floor, grainy tannins, balsamic and white pepper. Manuel Peyrondet: dense, sappy fruit with flowers, spice, damp clay and an orange-sanguine accent, framed by silky tannins.
Food Pairing Quail stuffed with foie gras, green cabbage and cauliflower mousseline
