Production Details The exact wine comes from vines planted in 1920. Estate-wide 2022 context: the range used 10–15% whole bunch in most cuvées, was not acidified, and was reported at around 12% alcohol; new oak represented about 10% across the range. Tasting Notes Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: fine even purple; highly floral and seductive aromatics; nuanced and seamless, with a long, lush yet mineral finish.

Tasting Notes William Kelley, Wine Advocate (January 2022), regular bottling: dark berries, plums, smoked meats, sweet soil, black truffle and licorice; full-bodied, layered, multidimensional and perfumed, with velvety tannins and a long resonant finish. Jasper Morris (tasted November 2021): dense clear imperial purple, backward but intriguing bouquet, darker and black fruit, classical Clos de Bèze sensuality and a lingering finish.
