Harvest Dates Harvest began on 22 August 2023 and ended on 4 October 2023. These dates are presented as the producer's overall 2023 vintage chronology on this wine's page.
Sites Grenache comes mainly from the Grand Prébois vineyard in Orange; Syrah comes from farther north, including the producer's Vinsobres vineyard; Mourvèdre is also included.

Production Details Harvest timing is chosen through ripeness checks and berry tasting. Grapes are sorted and destemmed on arrival. Extraction uses pumpovers whose frequency is adjusted by tasting. After devatting and malolactic fermentation, the producer says the wine is divided between wooden vats and stainless-steel tanks and matured for one year. The official importer renders the wooden-vessel wording as 'oak barrels'; vessel form is therefore retained using the producer's original wording rather than normalized to barrels.
Tasting Notes Deep, brilliant ruby; intense aromas of stewed plum, star anise and forest floor with eucalyptus freshness; balanced and structured with integrated tannins; truffle and wild blackberry; long, complex finish.
Food Pairing Braised lamb; chocolate fondant
