Drinking Window From 2026
Region Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Soil Red clay and quartz
Fermentation Vessels Concrete vats
Production Details The 2022 season was among the decade's driest and earliest: winter drought, cold-delayed budbreak, a warm bright spring and summer heatwaves concentrated the berries and reduced yields despite some rain. Vinification in concrete vats used gentle, controlled extraction; maturation combined large concrete vats and oak barrels.
Tasting Notes Broad and generous, with measured power and precision; youthful deep, meaty and earthy notes, candied bitter orange and sandalwood, a dense but integrated tannic core and a long harmonious finish.
Food Pairing Traditional French and Provençal stews, braised meats and grilled meats.
