Production Details Grapes were hand-picked and sorted; 60% of the wine was made from whole grapes. The 11-day vatting included 5–7 cap punchings and pumping over. After pressing, the wine settled for two weeks before barrel maturation: 30% in new barrels and 70% in barrels aged 1–5 years. After 13 months, it was racked to vat, rested for three months, and bottled without fining or filtration.
Tasting Notes Delicate floral aromas of lily, lily-of-the-valley, violet and hawthorn, joined by pine nut, raisin, black tea and cherry eau-de-vie; slender palate with chalk, bright acidity, powdered flowers and incense.
