Production Details Massal-selection Chardonnay from vines planted in 1961. The producer’s French page says the wine was barrel-aged, bottled under cork for the second fermentation and spent 4.5 years on lees before disgorgement; its English rendering says four years. The Athenaeum data sheet separately gives both 48 months and 4.5 years, an internal inconsistency. These conflicting durations are retained rather than converted to days. Athenaeum recommends serving at 6–8°C and gives an aging potential of 10–15 years.

Production Details The 0.61-hectare vineyard includes plantings from 1961, 1969 and 2012 and supplies massal-selection material for the estate. The importer reports organic farming methods since 2011, natural grass between rows and no fertilizer for more than 15 years. After fermentation, the wine remained on its lees for eight months until bottling; second fermentation took about two months, followed by five years of sur-lie aging in a cellar 53 feet below ground at a constant 50°F.
