Production Details A strict July green harvest reduced the crop to five or six bunches per vine; the Bâtard was picked first as its acidity was declining. Must entered barrels with all its lees, and the vintage produced three barrels. Sources agree this was the first post-replanting vintage but conflict on the planting year: Decanter reports replanting in 2016, whereas the reproduced Vinous review says the vines were pulled in 2015 and replanted in 2020.
Tasting Notes Charles Curtis MW’s Decanter review describes ripe apple, apricot, butter, spice and a very rich texture. Neal Martin’s Vinous barrel review notes reduction, a rich slightly viscous texture, power, length and spice. Jono Hersey’s May 2025 release note describes poached apple, quince and marmalade on brioche, followed by a broad, powerful palate with mouth-coating phenolics and good length.
