Production Details The winemaker notes state that the fruit came from old Marsannay vines averaging more than 50 years, was 100% destemmed, received a pre-fermentation cold soak, and matured for one year in used barrels followed by six months in tank. A James Suckling note on the same release instead describes fruit from 40-year-old vines, so the vine-age specifications conflict.
Tasting Notes Fragrant red berries, strawberries, fresh raspberries, cinnamon and flowers; bright, fruity and well-framed, with medium body and a long finish.
