Production Details The specialist sheet places the old massal-selection parcel at Les Equinces, east of Puligny, and reports cultivation according to organic principles. The 2022 grapes were described as exceptionally healthy and balanced, with potential alcohol slightly below 13%—a grape measurement, not finished-wine alcohol. Maturation comprised 18 months in large vessels followed by an additional year of bottle refinement. The sheet dates planting to 1963, but the producer says the parcel celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2011, implying approximately 1961; the precise planting year therefore remains unresolved.
Tasting Notes La Route des Blancs 2025 sheet for the 2022 release: linden, lily of the valley, freesia, chervil, verbena, freshly cut apple, juicy peach, fresh pineapple, lime, mandarin, gunflint, toasted almond, Timut pepper, fennel seed and ginger; dense, tapered palate with ripe citrus, juicy acidity and fine mineral tension.
Food Pairing Salt-crusted line-caught sea bass with beurre blanc; roasted scallops with chervil emulsion
