Production Details The pre-bottling report evaluated two components—Cuvée #1 from the southern Chambolle side and Cuvée #2 from the northern Morey side—plus an approximation of the final blend. At tasting, separate north- and south-side bottlings were still described as a possibility, so the sampled approximation should not be treated as proof of the final commercial blend.
Tasting Notes Stephen Tanzer’s approximation of the 2013 final blend: raspberry, mocha, licorice and crushed rock; silky, lifted and saline, with berry and soil flavors, sweetness and exceptional length.
Critics Ratings 93-96
